Plugin makes tool move to the nearest point on the cut path, or to the start of the nearest cutting path. It is also makes all preparations needed to continue cut from the achieved point on the path.
Video of the plugin UCCNCCutStart
The plugin works exclusively with the UCCNC program and is designed for gas-plasma cutting systems. I would like to draw attention to the fact that the trajectory is processed without taking the Z coordinate into account – so this plugin is not applicable for milling CNC and other systems where the Z coordinate is important.
Install and run the plug-in
To start the plugin, you need to unpack the contents of the self-extracting archive into the plug-in folder (Usually this is “c: UCCNCplugins”) and after that, activate it.
To activate, select the “configuration-> general settings” tab and click the “Configure plugins” button.
Next, select “Call startup” and “Enabled” in the plugin’s UCCNCCutStart line. And also you can configure it by clicking the “Configure” button.
Here, the “Action Button Id” is the button identifier that will trigger the transition to the path, and the “Start button id” is the button identifier that will cause the transition to the beginning of the path. If you do not want to add buttons to the work screen, you can bind keyboard shortcuts to these functions.
To do this, select the “Configureation-> I / O Trigger-> HotKeys” tab. On this tab, set the bindings of these commands to specific keyboard shortcuts.
